Getting started

How long does it take to set up Fintower?

Setup takes under 5 minutes. Sign up with Google or Microsoft, connect your first integration (Fortnox, Spiris, HubSpot, Shopify or any of our 25+ systems), then ask your first question and get the answer immediately. No consultant, no technical setup.

Do I need to be an accountant to use Fintower?

No. You just need access to at least one of your business systems: bookkeeping (Fortnox, Spiris, Visma), CRM, e-commerce or similar. Fintower handles the rest, no finance expertise needed. CEOs and owners without a finance background are one of our most common user groups.

Can I use Fintower for multiple companies?

It depends on the plan. Starter covers one company. Grow includes one company and you can add more as a paid add-on. Scale includes 10 companies with group consolidation built in. See pricing, or contact us for groups and accounting firms.

Integrations

Does Fintower work with Fortnox?

Yes. Fortnox is one of our primary integrations and we are an official Fortnox partner. You connect via secure login in under 5 minutes, and Fintower starts pulling your accounting data immediately. No manual export needed.

What counts as an integration?

An integration is a connection to an external system, such as Fortnox, Spiris, a bank, or a CRM. CSV imports do not count as integrations. See all available integrations.

Pricing & plans

What happens after my free trial ends?

When your 30-day trial ends, you choose which plan to continue with: Starter (799 kr/month), Grow (2 490 kr/month) or Scale (7 990 kr/month). Nothing happens automatically — you actively choose. To keep using Fintower you need a paid plan; without one your account is locked, but your data and settings are always preserved and available for export.

Can I change my plan?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period. See full pricing.

How does billing work?

We bill monthly or yearly via credit card or invoice. Yearly plans are charged upfront and include a discount equivalent to 2 free months.

Do you offer a discount for annual billing?

Yes. When you choose yearly billing you save the equivalent of 2 months compared to monthly billing.

AI & credits

What are AI credits and how do they work?

One AI credit is used when you ask the AI assistant a question or request an AI analysis. Browsing dashboards and reports never uses credits — only active AI questions and analyses do. A typical user with one company uses 5–10 credits per month. Starter includes 10 credits, Grow 30, Scale 100, and your monthly allowance resets every billing cycle. You can buy top-ups anytime from 99 kr for 30 credits.

Data & security

Can I export my data?

Yes. You can export all reports and dashboards as PDF or Excel anytime. Your data always belongs to you.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We are hosted on EU-based infrastructure and are fully GDPR compliant. We are pursuing SOC 2 Type II certification. We do not share your data for AI model training. Read more on our security page.

Can Fintower change my bookkeeping?

No. Fintower connects with read-only access and only reads your data. It can never write to, edit, or delete anything in Fortnox or any other connected system. Nothing you do in Fintower affects your bookkeeping.
